Dear Family Member:
February is here, and with it comes the warmth of love, a time to celebrate love, kindness, and connection. We are embracing this month with a positive outlook, focusing on the love that fuels our mission and the progress we’re making toward our goals. As we move forward together, your steady support continues to be the heartbeat of everything we do.
Exciting Steps Forward: Storage Facility Proposal Summary
We are thrilled to share the detailed proposal from Schoel Markland LLC, led by Justin Markland, outlining the next steps in the development of our new storage facility.
The proposed design includes:
- Two covered RV storage buildings, with 8 and 11 bays, respectively.
- Three climate-controlled storage buildings ranging from 3,200 to 4,000 square feet.
- Three non-climate-controlled storage buildings ranging from 2,400 to 3,600 square feet.
- A 2,280 square foot two-story office building, complete with a second-story apartment and garage.
The plan includes schematic designs based on civil engineering drawings, detailed construction documents compliant with all building codes, and ongoing construction administration support. The total cost for completing the formal set of drawings is $62,800.
Once approved, this will pave the way for obtaining firm estimates for the project, permitting and beginning construction. These new facilities promise to not only enhance our property but also provide sustainable revenue to support our broader mission.
Next Steps
The proposal will be reviewed for approval within the stipulated 45-day period, and we are optimistic about moving into the construction phase soon. Your prayers, encouragement, and contributions continue to be instrumental in bringing this vision to life. Stay tuned for updates as we break ground and make further progress.
Looking Ahead: Mark Your Calendars!
Don’t forget our upcoming Double Celebration in May 2025! We’ll be honoring Freddie’s 80th birthday and celebrating 40 wonderful years of marriage. It promises to be a joyous occasion filled with love, memories, and gratitude. At the event, we also plan to present an updated summary review of where we are in the construction phase of the storage units.
February reminds us of the power of love that drives our mission, strengthens our community, and inspires progress. Thank you for your continued faith, generosity, and encouragement. Together, we are building something extraordinary.
With love and gratitude,
