This week the Sabbath School Lesson title was “The Power of Personal Testimony.”
The men wrote out their testimonies to be read at vespers. They were all powerful and inspiring! We have encouraged them, in addition to writing out their stories, to use their time here at DAP to practice standing before their brothers and other audiences to perfect their words of life.
Upon completion of the program, they know that their first priority is to serve others and to tell just one more person about Jesus.
We emphasized to them the following words from the Sabbath School lesson, “ The essence of the Christian life is a relationship with Jesus that is so rich and full that we long to share it. As important as correct Bible doctrine is, it cannot substitute for a life transformed by grace and changed by love.”
The men are learning that personal testimony is so powerful in influencing others, and at the same time, a godly life is an important part of their witness.
