Cliff Harris, Presidente’, was the teacher tonight. He is studying the book “A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23” with the men. This entire poem recounts the manner in which the Good Shepherd spares no pains for the welfare of His sheep.
The men read and summarized Chapter 1, The Lord is My Shepherd. Cliff graded their papers and most of them received high scores for their very good work.
Chapter 1 introduces one to Jesus, the Great Shepherd. Unless we belong to Jesus, we will not be able to teach His sheep (human beings) to flourish and prosper.
These clients are good students in the ‘DAP School of Christ😇. They write every week – e.g. daily Sabbath School lesson, weekly assignments, journaling, and paperwork for individual and group counseling.
When they graduate 👨🎓from the DAP 12-18 month program , they are better prepared to attend college or obtain a job using the skills they have learned here at DAP. What a blessing!
