We did irrigation work and painted a fence for our neighbor, Inga Davis. She sent this ‘one red🌹rose’ to me as a gift having no idea that it was the trademark of our marriage. That was God’s personal touch just for me, His Sonshine Princess🥰.
We trimmed several bushes for our neighbors across the street, Bob and Glenda Sharp. Although we did not charge them, they gave us a generous donation for the ministry. And if that wasn’t enough, Bob baked these delicious brownies for the crew 😋. He expressed to us how much he appreciated the guys and the excellent work they do.
Thank you, good neighbors, for your love and kindness.
I met Jonnel, an Oakwood University student, three years ago. After giving my personal testimony at Power Hour, she asked for a copy of my book. Yours,Truly, to help improve her journaling and to build a closer relationship with God. We have enjoyed our time together. This is a text she sent to me on my birthday:
“Happy Birthday Mrs. Harris 🥳 I love you dearly. Thank you for being a mother figure to me while at Oakwood. I will forever be grateful for your prayers and spiritual support in leading me in the right direction of a strong relationship with God. I miss you so much and I pray that you have many more years on this earth 😘❤️”
Yesterday she gave me this scarf that she crocheted and this personal note. What joy filled my heart ❣️
Our friends, Latham and Jackie Lawrence, just brought this delicious homemade banana bread by our house. They made the guys a loaf last week and made one for us today. “….a friend sticks closer than a brother “ Proverbs 18:24
In this 24/7 ministry, it encourages our hearts so much when our family and friends show us God’s love in tangible ways. It lifts our spirits and helps us to ‘keep on keeping on’. Thank you for your love, support and most of all, your intercessory prayers🙏🏼.
