We are blessed to be a blessing! Our friends, Dr. Wendell and Althea McMillan, invited us to share our story with the Oakwood University Church senior citizens at their morning prayer meeting, and it was a truly humbling experience.
Over 30 seniors gathered to hear our words of encouragement, and we were thrilled to share our journey with them. Cliff’s powerful testimony and our inspiring love story brought joy and laughter to the group, and we were amazed by the positive impact our words had on them. We gifted each member copies of our books, Deathdance and Yours,Truly, as a small token of our appreciation.
The gentlemen even prepared a scrumptious lunch for the ladies in celebration of Mother’s Day, creating an atmosphere of love and community. It’s a privilege to spend time with these remarkable seniors and bring them happiness. Jesus said, ‘Inasmuch as you have done it unto one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it for me.’ (Matthew 25:40)
