Dear Family Member:
As we celebrate Independence Day, we are reminded of the profound spiritual freedom for which we still fight today. This freedom anchors our hearts and guides DAP’s mission. This month, we reflect on the seeds of hope and faith that we plant in our community, knowing that each act of kindness and dedication nurtures the future we all aspire to build.
Independence Day is not only a time to celebrate our nation’s freedom but also an opportunity to remind our sons of the freedom of breaking the shackles of addiction; as we recognize the freedoms, we strive to secure for everyone in our community. Let us honor the spirit of liberty by continuing to support and be kinder to one another, ensuring that every individual feels the value of love through our acts and is empowered to do likewise. “People may forget what you say, but they never forget how you made them feel.”
While we eagerly anticipate new developments, we are proud of the steps we have taken toward transforming the 10 acres of land into a thriving space for the many facets of our program and community involvement. We met with the team to finalize plans for the Storage Units. We are now waiting for the proposal from the contractor. The vision remains clear, and with each passing day, God moves us closer to realizing the full potential of this project. Your continued support and belief in this vision keep us moving forward with determination and resolve.
Freddie’s birthday was marked by an overwhelming outpouring of love, notes, gifts, and a ton of messages from so many people whose lives she has touched. The gratitude in her heart is still fresh, and we join her in thanking everyone who made her day so special. Your kindness is a testament to the strong bonds we share as a reflection of God’s family and community.
We are immensely grateful for the selfless and untiring work and dedication of Cliff and Freddie. Their diligent efforts during unexpected challenges have demonstrated that “You don’t know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.” DAP is blessed to have them as the cornerstone of DAP’s progress and the embodiment of our collective spirit. Their leadership and compassion inspire us all to reach new heights and extend our reach.
Finally, we extend our deepest thanks to you our faithful and generous family. Your continuous support is the lifeblood of our mission, enabling us to keep planting seeds of hope and nurturing them into lasting change. We are forever grateful for your commitment and generosity.
As we move forward, let us carry the spirit of Independence Day and the warmth of God’s love in our hearts to our community. Together, we are sowing the seeds of a brighter, more inclusive future. Thank you for being a part of this journey and for your steady support.
