We receive so many cards and letters from our DAP family and friends expressing their appreciation for this worthwhile ministry. All praise and honor goes to God! Listen as we share:
Mr. & Mrs. Harris, I would like to thank you for your monetary gifts to my family. The children and I are reading most of “DeathDance” together. Mr. Cliff, your testimony is amazing and shows evidence of God’s grace all throughout your walk. I would also like to thank you for your willingness to accept my husband, Ruben, into your program. Although it was disappointing that he chose to leave, thank you for trying. My Comforter continues to give me peace. For it has only been by the grace of God that my family has made it this far. Thank you for your encouraging words and prayers. Please don’t cease to pray for us. I have enclosed a photo of our children. It’s my prayer that we get to meet on this side of heaven.
Much love to you and yours,

DAP Family, your friendly smiles and helpfulness always make a difference. Hope you know how much you’re appreciated. May the Lord keep blessing your ministry. You all have given my family much joy and peace of mind. Thanks to all the staff. You are heaven sent. My brother, Frank Celis, is a changed man. Thanks for all you have done for him and his family.

Dear Cliff & Freddie, Greetings in the precious name of Jesus. Thank you for keeping me up to date on the latest development at DAP. I really enjoyed the family pictures and news of DAP members’ positive experiences. Everything is on the up and up with every one of you. Jason is doing unbelievably great on his diet. Tracy has found a lovely wife. The Shattuck’s are as healthy and beautiful as ever. As for you and Cliff, I do believe that because you are fully committed to the work of Christ, He has caused time to stand still for you in terms of aging. And, He has multiplied your vigor for Him. May God continue to bless you and DAP in manifold ways.
Yours in Christ,
Beulah Warren “Ms. Bee” (Brooklyn, NY)
Sharon Brunnabend and her husband Ron (deceased), former counselors, donated his prize possession, this “clean” 1994 GMC truck, to DAP right before he passed in 2013.Words cannot express how much we appreciate the favors and financial support from them for the past 15 years. Sharon recently gave generous funds for the “My Brother’s Keeper” Scholarship Fund and our new van. The following note tells you how close DAP is to her heart:
My dear DAP family, thank you so much for coming to my home to surprise me with your birthday serenade and the beautiful philodendron plant. Male chorus music is special to me because Ron sang in a men’s chorus. The plant occupies a place on my coffee table and reminds me of all of the good times I shared with DAP for over 10 years.
Gentlemen, ALWAYS keep in mind that Jesus came here to suffer and die that painful death for each one of us. Jesus knows what you have been through and He is by your side to raise you higher in your spiritual life than you could ever imagine. All you have to do is talk to Him, tell Him what you would like, and ask Him for help. He’s better than the best earthly father could be. Try Him.
With love to all, Sharon Brunnabend (Redlands, CA)
Dear Freddie & Cliff, as you can see by the enclosed envelope, I have put off sending it “empty” – I was not able to budget a gift for your ministry. With prayer and boldness, your cause was presented to a very generous couple. They were touched by your ministry’s work and donated $500.00! Thank you for your work. May God continue to bless as you snatch many from ‘vice,’ to serving our Lord. In Jesus,

We want to express our deepest thanks for the generous gifts last month totaling $690.00 towards “My Brother’s Keeper” Scholarship Fund. Meet Greg Walls, a young man addicted to drugs. Steve Wilkins and Chuck Howe from South Dakota met Greg through a friend and took him under their wings. He attended the Custer Seventhday Adventist Church with them and was employed in their business.
Through his drug use, he lost control, stole from the business and showed unacceptable behavior. Instead of “throwing him to the wolves,” Steve and Chuck decided to send him to DAP. They asked other church members to help them pay for Greg’s tuition. Every month, these members sacrifice and send individual checks to help him. What a perfect example of being “My Brother’s Keeper.” We will be guest speakers at their church for the Sabbath worship service on October 1st. We can’t wait to personally thank them for doing what Jesus did while on earth, showing compassion to those in need. They will be pleased to know that Greg is growing in his recovery and building a relationship with God.
Family member, your funds also help men like Greg change their lives and become new creatures in Christ. For this, we are most grateful! Thank you once again for your support and compassion we have received from you so long and hope it will continue in the future.
In His service,
