Dear Family Member:
Last month DAP had a “high day” at our church, Campus Hill Seventh-day Adventist Church, in Loma Linda, CA. Six of our “sons” were baptized – Jesse Best, Joseph Gonzales, Pierre Jackson, Nicholas Muck, Greg Walls and Leonard Walsh, named the “Sanctified Six” J. After studying the Bible with them, Pastor Cristian Iordan had the honor of performing the baptisms. The pastors and elders performed a dedication prayer for the men as new members of the church.

One of our goals is to teach the men how to have a personal relationship with Jesus through prayer, Bible study and witnessing. Through daily devotion and other spiritual activities, they learn how to become intimate with Jesus. After graduating, if they follow the program curriculum that is set up like every day living, including time with God, they will not only stay “drug free” but live a productive Christian life.
The DAP family and friends gathered for lunch at the McCabe Manor recovery home to celebrate this most auspicious event. What a Sabbath to remember!

Our 15-passenger, 23 year-old, van was on its “last leg.” To keep repairing it was too costly. Therefore, again, we stepped out in faith and began raising funds to purchase this new 15-passenger 2016 Mercedes Benz Sprinter van. Because of your generosity, we were able to purchase this beautiful van. God intervened for us to get it for $10,000 less. As you can see in the picture, our church members at Campus Hill are happy for us. The men now enjoy riding in a safer and more comfortable vehicle. Thank you so much for making our faith a reality.
We are in awe of how the Lord blesses this ministry. He blesses us beyond our highest expectations. Because we are “Our Brother’s Keeper”, these men are able to experience God’s healing and a new life in Christ.
None of this would be possible without you. Thank you for making Drug Alternative Program the ‘light than shines on the hill’ for Christ here in Southern California.
Our love,
