Dear Family Member:
The grounds you are currently viewing are a testament to divine providence. As you may recall, our initial plan was to relocate to Alabama for retirement. However, God had alternative plans – to liquidate the four DAP homes in California and purchase 13 1/2 acres in Huntsville outright – with the goal of establishing a Recovery Home and developing the remaining 10 acres to further the kingdom by saving more souls, particularly those of men struggling with drug addiction.
God has made a commitment to provide the necessary funds for the development of storage units, a Community Center, a Recovery Home, and a Transition Home for Graduates. With 38 years of operating DAP on faith, we are driven to proceed, confident that God will provide the $2.5 million needed for the initial phase of the project, which includes 100 storage units.
Cliff and I are dedicated to raising the required funds. We secured approval for a $100,000 equity loan on our home but ultimately decided against it due to the unfavorable terms – a variable interest rate of 9.25% for 20 years. Although initially excited, we were disappointed by the loan details. We had previously informed Joe Williams, the contractor, of our intention to allocate $100,000 for the project. He agreed with our decision and will continue planning. He believes that the necessary funds will be forthcoming. It’s possible to rely on Him, trust in His power, and not our own abilities. Upon receipt of the permit from the City of Huntsville, the crew will begin grading the grounds. The City planners’ approval process has been slow. Please pray for the grading to begin soon.
If God can intervene to halt the rain for our double celebration on May 25, 2025, He can also provide the necessary funds of $2.5 million for the storage units. Historically, He has performed numerous miracles, and we are confident that He will continue to do so. As this is His ordained mission for us to manage, do you believe in the possibility of miracles?
During our recent period of prayer, fasting, and scripture reading, a card with this powerful promise dropped out of Cliff’s Bible: ‘If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.’ (John 14:14) As we strive to fulfill God’s will and purpose, particularly the development of these ‘miracle grounds,’ we wholeheartedly trust in this promise. Will you partner with us in prayer and financial support for God’s Master Plan prepared for DAP? We need you,
