Tonight our guest speaker for Vespers was Dr. Standley Gellineau joined by his wife, Norma.
Cliff asked Stan to speak on the subject, “Forgiveness.” He shared several examples of forgiveness in the Bible. E.g. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness,I John 1:9. However, the greatest example Stan shared was his personal testimony. The men were inspired, encouraged and filled with hope.
Afterwards the clients read their weekly assignment on Forgiveness. We were captivated by their stories and felt “heart ❤️work”from each man. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, spiritual healing was felt among us.
At the end of Stan’s message, he had us repeat this memorable text: “ I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.”
Philippians 4:13.
