Oh my goodness! We were privileged to have our South Central Conference President, Pastor Benjamin Jones, as our guest speaker. What an honor! He told us that his Presidency is his ‘temp’ job. At heart he’s a Preacher and a Child of God😀.
He shared his personal testimony of being abused by his alcoholic father with a mother who kept him grounded in the love of Jesus.
He shared the story of the paralytic in Mark 2. Jesus did not view the man’s past. He wanted forgiveness more than physical healing and he received both.
He assured the men that they may have the same experience.
The President motivated the men to stay on the pathway to victory to receive their crown of life. He said, “God has already won the race. Stay on track. The best days are in front of you.”
We felt so special for our Conference President to take the time from his busy schedule to stop by and encourage the men of DAP. That’s just God👏🏼🕺!
