Tonight for vespers we showed our “Drugs Close to Home” TV program featuring our son, Tony Farmer, a former NBA player. Sometimes we feel that we neglect our children while working in the ministry. However, Tony told us that he felt that he was a part of our mission and was pleased to see us fulfill our calling from God to help men addicted to drugs.
As an NBA player, having to be away from his family so often, traveling constantly, dealing with the pressures of life, he understood our work better.
Tony thanked us for giving men like Tracy Wise a second chance. He has known Tracy for several years and was proud to see him finally get his life together, living a fulfilled life in Christ with a Christian young lady whom he had just met at that time.
The guys were glad to view Tony’s program and to learn about one of our children.
