Our guest speaker tonight was our neighbor, Richard Goldsmith. My Bible Study partner, Sherry Bolte, also joined us. Rich is a retired Army veteran of 30 years.
His message tonight was centered on seeking the Bible truth. He shared how he came to know Jesus by a pastor coming and sharing God’s Word with his wife and him. He highlighted the books of John and Acts showing us how the acts of the apostles brought love for God and love for each other. Knowing how much God loves us changes us as we become seekers of His truth and our love for each other grows.
He urged us to spend more time with God and to love one another. The following verse inspired us to do both: A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. John 13:34
