Our guests tonight were Joshua and Ebonique Gaston who live here in Huntsville, AL.
We met Joshua last year as a student at Oakwood University. One of the members of our OU Student Overcomer’s Support Group invited him to come and give his testimony. It was so inspiring!
Joshua heard our love story at worship on campus at Oakwood. He made a decision to follow my same commitment of spending one year with God before looking for a spouse. His year ended in January and soon after he met Ebonique here in Huntsville at Mt. Calvary Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Space nor time will not permit me to share the amazing details of their relationship. A miracle indeed! They were attracted to each other mostly on a spiritual basis. The Lord impressed them both at the same time that He had chosen them for each other. He blessed their platonic relationship. In fact, they did not even kiss until they were married on July 25, 2020! That’s just God! And you can see God’s love 💕 radiating through them.
Joshua is a full-time Theology student at Oakwood University and Ebonique is a manager for the UPS Store. God has a bright future planned for them as positive role models for Christ.
The men said their love story came straight from heaven😇. They too want a Christian wife and believe God will bless them too as they follow Joshua and Ebonique’s example. What a blessing 🙏🏼.
