Over a year ago, while shopping at the Publix store, Cathy Brown noticed Cliff’s DAP vest and knew he was a Christian. After Cliff’s warm greeting, she felt comfortable telling him about her son addicted to drugs. To make a long story short, we became friends with Cathy and her husband Tom. We have been helping Cathy not to enable her son, Kris, in his drug addiction.
Last week Cathy told God she wanted to hear from her son to know that he is alright. Immediately he impressed her to call the Huntsville Hospital. And guess what! He was there in ER!! What a miracle! Kris was shocked that God told his mom that he was there. She asked Cliff to visit him, he did and they had a long talk. He was released from the hospital on Friday and we picked him up. We showed him the Recovery Home, introduced him to the guys and we all went to Cracker Barrel for dinner.
We wish we could tell you that he entered the program, but he was not ready to make the commitment. However, we ‘planted the seed’ and God answered Cathy’s prayer. She chose not to see him and to allow the Holy Spirit to do His work. Please pray for Kris.
