God is so faithful to us!
The Belmont Place Home Association where we live has hired us to pressure wash the driveways, sidewalks and patios for our neighbors. So far, 44 homes have requested our services. These houses are to be done in addition to our regular landscaping work. The men are doing a good job and our neighbors are well pleased. Thus far, we have completed 26 of the homes.
Most of our neighbors know about the ministry. We shared with them this special project to raise funds to purchase more land surrounding the Recovery Home. Instead of charging them a certain amount, we asked them to give a donation to help purchase this land. Would you believe we have raised $10,000 from our generous neighbors! What a blessing! We have 18 more to complete and the neighbors are still calling for our services.
We bought a second pressure washing machine to speed up the jobs. The owner sold it to Cliff with a down payment and no interest for the balance owed. Thank the Lord for favoring us!
We have received an additional $10,000 from family members! We are so encouraged and our hearts are overflowing with “JOY!” God has other ‘irons in the fire” that we know not of. We are moving forward in faith as we have done in the past, believing that God will provide the funds through partners like you. He has not failed us in our 34 years of ministry and He will not fail us now.
We are putting forth every effort to raise these funds by writing grants and contacting people, businesses and organizations. God is rewarding our efforts. Your voice, hands and feet are needed to help with this grand project. There is exciting news about this special project God has assigned to us. Cliff and I are up in age and our family and friends are discontented seeing us work so hard during our retirement years. DAP is our passion, and we love what we do, helping God deliver men addicted to drugs. We do get tired and weary at times, but God increases our energy and gives us the strength to do this work. In fact, DAP is our salvation, and our lives are being transformed right along with these men. God assures us that we are close to His heart♥️.
