The expansion of Drug Alternative Program’s ministry here in Alabama has been something we never dreamed of. It shows that our plans are not always God’s plans.
We feel like Abraham and Sarah at our ripe ages. They exceeded, “three score and ten years.“ As we always say though, this is God‘s ministry, not Cliff and Freddie‘s. We are called to be His servant leaders and we go where He leads us.
The Alabama recovery home is coming together and we are working hard to make it a comfortable environment for the men. Cliff and the clients are putting their hands to work to make the landscape more attractive and expressive of our presence in the community.
Our biggest challenge today is acquiring commercial accounts to help us be more self-sufficient in the Landscaping Work Therapy Program… There is a lot of potential work in this area of Alabama. We signed our first contract with Oakwood University Memorial Gardens, a 13-acre property. More equipment is needed to do this job and others like it in the future.
This month we believe we can raise $60,000 to purchase this time-saving tractor and the attachments by July 1, the contract date of the Memorial Gardens. To date we have raised $5,300.
You have given and sacrificed in the past to help us purchase homes, vehicles, client’s scholarships and many more projects. We want to give you an opportunity to be a part of this special project for God’s work here in Alabama.
In order to raise the $60,000 amount, we need your gift of $10,000, $5000, $1000, $500, $100, or whatever you can give for this tractor. As a step of faith, we have ordered the tractor and believe that we can pay cash for it with your sacrificial gift. Won’t you send your gift this month?

All that you do for DAP helps bring souls into the kingdom of God. There are hundreds of men addicted to drugs just “waiting to be gathered in.”
And we sense God’s leading power in all we have undertaken here in Alabama. Please remember, every gift matters, whether large or small. Together all the gifts will make a significant difference.

P.S. Take another look at the “Tractor” that will be the key piece of equipment for our Landscaping Work Therapy Program. While more equipment will be needed in the future, this Tractor is a big start for us!
