Ms. Leslie Patrow, a supporter of DAP, worked six years at the Star HB (Horse) Farms here in Huntsville. Today she treated the guys to horseback riding there. They were so excited and grateful for her act of kindness.
After the enjoyment of riding the horses, she treated all of us to a take-out dinner at La Fuente Mexican Restaurant. We brought
the dinner back to the Recovery Home and everyone ‘chowed down.’ The food was tasty.
Leslie’s desire was to get to know the clients better and this outing gave all of us the opportunity to share and fellowship together.
These men are learning the importance of taking time for recreation and exchanging Intimacies with family and friends. I
