“Top of the morning” to you! The sun is shining, the wind is blowing and the temperature is 73 degrees, a perfect day to start the painting project at the Recovery Home.
Our painter and mentor, Marlon James, is showing the men how to prep the house before applying the paint: it has to be sprayed with water and chemicals to remove the allergy and mildew; power washed; loose paint scraped off; spot primed and then it’s ready to be painted. Lots of work and we are blessed to have the manpower.
The house is almost 100 years old and it will be a beautiful home to enhance the neighborhood.
