Today we took the guys to Birmingham instead of doing landscape work. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We attended the Honda Indy Race Car Event at the Barber Motorsports Park.
Before the race, we took a tour of the park and the first thing that sparked their interest was all the beautiful antique, vintage and classic cars. They all have a real affection for cars and enjoyed seeing and admiring their favorite ones.
Although the weather was chilly, the race was still exciting. A race expert explained to us what was taking place among the races which gave us a better understanding and made the event more delightful.
After leaving the park, we had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory, one of our favorite restaurants. The food was delicious but the fellowship and the atmosphere were better.
