Sabbath is our favorite day of the week! We traveled to Pikeville, TN to visit our son and daughter, Lonny and Linda Shattuck. The sun was shining bright with a blue sky full of clouds and a nice crisp day. We all loaded up in the van and arrived at the church just in time for Sabbath School. The time of study and the worship experience inspired our hearts.
We savored a delicious potluck dinner at Lonny and Linda’s home. Cliff just bubbled over with joy seeing us all together. He expressed his gratitude for having the DAP family close close to him. With tears🥲 in his eyes, he thanked each one for loving and supporting us both and having the same love for DAP as we do. An affectionate moment in time.
To close the Sabbath, Robert Reid gave the vesper’s thought, “The Invitation,” inspiring us to wear the yoke of service for others as Jesus did.
We arrived home safely – refreshed and uplifted🙏🏼. We love the Sabbath 💞.
