Today we drove to Duncan, TN to spend Sabbath with Lonny and Linda Shattuck. Lonny’s employer, Jeff Blumenberg, invited us down to hear his sermon for the Worship Service. Lunch was prepared for us by his wife, Sharon, and Linda. For dessert, Amanda brought a homemade pineapple upside down cake that was so scrumptious.
After lunch, we promoted Emil Castro to Phase II. He was pleasantly surprised! Cliff showed the draft of the Master Plan for the land expansion to the group. Then the guys walked down to the pond and enjoyed their time there. It was so refreshing!
The Blumenberg’s home is located in the mountains and the rustic scenery is so invigorating for our DAP family.
Sabbath with family and friends is always enjoyable. We look forward to this sacred time each week.
