Satan never leaves me alone when it comes to dishonesty, a weakness I grew up with as a child. I’m glad there is no sin in being tempted, only when I yield to it.
This is the third time he has recently tempted me while shopping. Again, the clerk at Tuesday Morning charged me for two items instead of four. I didn’t pay attention to the total until I recorded the debit in my checkbook. I will take this receipt back tomorrow and pay for the two $6.99 picture frames.
God is well pleased when I am honest and He in turn honors me. This truthfulness gives me an opportunity to witness showing others that this facet of moral character is still practiced today.
