We all opened our gifts this morning and enjoyed the festivities for the rest of the day. The clients cooked a delicious meal and we had plenty of food. We gathered tonight for a Christmas-Eve dinner at the home of our relatives, Craig and Victoria Jackson, in Highland, CA. The decorations and table settings were colorful and the home cooked meal was scrumptious. Our 94 year-old matriarch, Sarah, baked the most delicious apple pie. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There is nothing like God’s Family.

Today our DAP Family celebrated the Sabbath Birthday of Nicki, the wife of graduate, Leonard Walsh. They joined us for lunch and Nicki was surprised with cake, ice cream and gifts for her milestone birthday. The guest speaker for Friday Night Vespers was Art Gee, an Aviation Teacher and Friend of DAP. His topic was “Trust” and the theme text was Psalm 2:12: ....”Happy are those who go to God for protection knowing that He has their good at heart.” We can trust God and He wants to trust us

Look at this personalized Christmas ornament I received in the mail today from my ‘twin’ sister. Gay and I bonded together 20 years ago when she married my ‘brother’, Henry Zecher. He brought her to CA to meet us on their way to Hawaii for their beach wedding. Our birthdays are two days apart and

Christmas is the Most Wonderful Time of the Year❣️ This morning we picked up gifts from Diana Albertson in memory of her mother, Marti Albertson, who has given Christmas gifts to the clients for the past 20 years. Marti was the leader of Community Services  at the Calimesa Seventh-day Adventist Church who sponsors these gifts.

Keith Williams fixed pancakes, eggs and hash brown potatoes  for us and our tummies were full. We all dined sufficiently. The men are taught the importance of family time together. They cook their meals and eat breakfast and dinner together daily. There’s nothing like family❣️

This Sabbath Campus Hill Church held a Christmas Concert with gratitude for five years of ministry for Pastor and Mrs. Julio Tabuenca. Family and friends filled the sanctuary to pay tribute to him. Among the guests were the DAP graduates and clients who sang “Joy to the World.” A special reception followed the concert. The fellowship
