While in Oklahoma City attending my teacher’s funeral, I visited my high school classmate, Arbutus Buford, in the nursing home.
Arbutus had a stroke several years ago and I have kept in touch with her. What a pleasant surprise for her to see me! She cannot speak words , but she understood my language of love💞.
I took her for a ride in a wheelchair in 90 degree weather. While outside, all of a sudden, we felt a nice cool breeze. The sun didn’t even feel as hot. God showed us His love and power in a tangible way👏🏼. Isn’t He wonderful!
As I left, I gave her hugs 🤗 and kisses 😘 and her countenance exuded with joy. Our time together gave her a great feeling of pleasure and happiness.
God’s love, cherished in our hearts, sweetens our lives and influences the lives of others.
