Dear Family Member:
Thanksgiving is truly the most important of American holidays because, more than even Christmas or the Fourth of July, it is a time when families reunite, express gratitude for one another, and feel a sense of closeness to each other than at any other time.
We are so grateful, so thankful and so blessed! This year has been full of enthusiasm and anticipation from what we see God doing. The purchase of the additional 10 acres of land to expand the ministry has been both exciting and challenging. First, the land has been made ready for development by clearing of trees and debris. As previously mentioned, the first phase of the Master Plan (see back page) is the Storage Units, which we’re hoping will bring extra income to the program. Again, we have stepped out in faith, and planned a lovely Christmas holiday dinner in order to raise the $1.8 Million it will take to fund Phase I. We have planned a delightful evening of entertainment and good food. Chapman Sisson Architects will be there to describe the Master Plan in its entirety. You may also view the “Land Partners” video on the DAP UTube channel, Our hope is that all may attend. To those of you who will not be in attendance, we pray that your presence will still be felt through your generous donations to help see this dream come true. This amount might sound insurmountable to us, but we know by experience that nothing is impossible for God. As “Abraham & Sarah “😊, we have accepted the roles to carry out this part of God’s plans until we cease to exist. His main quest for us is to assist men addicted to drugs and draw souls to Christ, through our labor of love and support.
We have witnessed God’s miracle working power for many years now. God has granted us, that which the world cannot give or take away, and that is a peace of mind. A peace that passes all understanding and which gives us the assurance that we are not to worry about what He has begun in us. God has asked us to humble ourselves and watch the miracles grow. Cliff and I know, and are excited about the work that God has given us to do, because we dared to believe Him. However, this is not just our work. We did not get here, by ourselves. God has connected us with you, by design, and we are so grateful to have you.
During this awesome time of Thanksgiving and Praise, and as you look back over this year, can you recall something worthy of Thanks or Gratitude? Has God been your Rescuer, Deliverer, or relieved a burden in some way? Please show your gratitude, by giving a very special and generous donation to help finish this project. Our time and attention need to be devoted to the task at hand. We know our trust and belief is in God. Seeing is believing! Won’t you come and join us for this grand evening and see how God is bringing this project along? Moreover, if you are not able to attend, we hope this will not hinder your generous contributions. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your loving and liberal gifts.
Happy Thanksgiving!
