Thanksgiving is always special at our home. I set the table with our fine china, to make the guys, away from home, experience the closeness of family. We invited our neighbor’s , Phillis Gaines and her son, Nile, to join us. The potluck dinner was inviting and we dined sufficiently.
After dinner, we all shared what we were thankful for. Our friend Amanda just had surgery. The doctor told her that radiation would not be necessary as scheduled . This was an answer to our prayers. Sharing is a key part of getting along with others, so it becomes more and more important as we take the time to do so.
The guys are gaining an understanding of the importance of spending holidays and other occasions with family and friends.
