Christmas Eve began with refreshments including my star Christmas tea that I make each year. We opened gifts and the clients called their loved ones that were elated to hear from them. On Christmas Day, Lonny and Linda Shattuck along with Lonny’s Dad, drove up from Tennessee. Anthony and Phyllis Frazier drove up from Kentucky.

Our guest speaker was Steve Andrews, Pastor of the Meadow Drive Baptist Church in Huntsville. He was the locksmith who opened a truck door for us, and I invited him to speak for Vespers. We arrived at the Recovery Home to pick up the guys for church tonight and they had built a snowman! We had fun!
