During the October Red Ribbon Week, Loma Linda Academy Students  have donated food to the DAP clients for over 20 years. Lynne Haddendorf, Counselor, has spearheaded this food drive and the truck load of staple foods helps tremendously with our grocery bill. What a blessing! We’re here in California enjoying time with our ‘sons.’ We worshipped together at Campus Hill Church. The Saturday night concert was cancelled so we stopped at Thrifty’s for ice cream cones. We are all blessed and highly favored of God🕺.

Our guest speaker for Friday Night Vespers was Sam Anjejo, Accountant at ACTS (Adventist Community Team Services) in Loma Linda, CA. As an act of kindness, DAP beautifies their lawn each week. Our son Jeffrey and grandchildren are here to visit us and the rest of our local family. We enjoyed the Sabbath worship service at our church and then a delicious luncheon at our home. Today is client, Keith Williams’, 49th Birthday. What great enthusiastic voices of his Brothers. The cake and ice cream is always welcomed and the clients enjoy celebrating each other’s birthdays. Birthdays and holidays are special for the men. We hope the celebration of these special occasions  will instill in them good ethics for their family
