Today, we celebrated ‘ a high day in Zion.’
Two years ago, airline tickets brought us to San Diego for London’s Installation Service as the Claremont Seventh-Day Adventist Church new pastor. Economy class meant assigned seating; 38 B & C. Initially disappointing, yet divinely orchestrated.
We met Jonathan and Christina Mendoza, returning from Houston. Cliff extended an invitation to the Installation Service; Jonathan replied, “I need Jesus.” They attended, along with Christina’s sister, and have been vital to the church.
Under London’s guidance, they flourished through marriage counseling and Bible studies. Their teenage son Bentley joined the church young people’s Pathfinder Club and enjoyed the Camporee in Wyoming . Jonathan and Christina’s marriage this month and baptism today marks a new beginning. Our hearts overflow.
Lesson: God’s ways surpass ours. Two lives now shine with unwavering joy, transformed by Christ.
