Today was the 27th birthday of Trebien Battle. He was delighted because this was his first birthday celebration in 10 years. Trebien left the program last year and was so thankful that we accepted him back. His brothers are helping him to rebuild his self-confidence. He said he wants a personal relationship with Christ and
Sabbath is a holy and special day for the DAP family. A time to rest and enjoy intimacy with God. We brought in the New Year by attending our church’s, Oakwood University, Drive-in Worship Celebration on the parking lot of the church. Pastor Byrd and the staff led us in the partaking of Holy Communion in our cars. What a blessing to join our church family in this sacred ordinance. We returned to the Recovery
We enjoyed Christmas dinner at the Recovery Home today. The food was delicious and we enjoyed activities and watching the NBA Christmas Day games.
